If Dr. Cole had an editor working on this book, he or she should be seriously questioning his/her mental health. As an editor myself, I have never, ever had to correct a document with this many misused commas. You probably think I'm nitpicking, but it really does destroy the rhythm of the book. It's a very good book, wonderful material, and his descriptions and storytelling are good, but the crazy overuse of unnecessary commas ruined it for me. It's hard to follow because of this. I do hope Dr. Cole and his family are doing well. His military record is stunning, and I thank him for his very skilled service.
